In our shocking conclusion, we discover that the prior two movies we watched ("Night of the Living Dead" and "Dawn of the Dead") were actually just movies-within-a-movie that were made during the ghoul pandemic by a collapsing America trying to cope with the plague. Now we cut to 5 years later, and get a glimpse of the ghoul pandemic for real for the first time. How it has ravaged the world. With no one left. Businesses gone. Cities empty. Just an army of the dead insanely hungry for food.

We follow the final days of the world's final survivors, a handful of soldiers and scientists holed up in a top secret bunker in Florida. Everyone is at each other's throats. Do they continue with this quixotic mission? Do they bail and try to make the most of their final days. And what of one crazed madman who unlocks a secret of the living dead? Will his actions doom them all.

Now we enter the heart of darkness of our failing Western Civilization. With humanity's few remaining survivors on the brink of extinction are trapped in a futile race against time to find a solution to the pandemic which has now become endemic.
